United Indian Health Services (UIHS) provides quality healthcare services in Humboldt and Del Norte that reflect the traditional values of the American Indian Community. One of their 11 locations, the Potawot Health Village in Arcata offers a wide range of services including medical, dental, pharmacy, elder services, and behavioral health. The existing medical facility has undergone a substantial two-story addition, including a remodel of existing first floor and attic areas. The addition includes brand new medical exam and procedure rooms, administrative offices, a break room, pharmacy area and second floor storage space.
